Request because I'm a first-timer and I have no idea. I go along being told early movements are similar flutters, simply it feels more similar gentle muscle twitches simply higher up my pubic area to the left of my omphalus. I feel like it's just wishful thinking as I was told I accept an anterior placenta at my 12 week scan, and so I'd put out of my mind that I'd experience anything until much afterwards on - I'g 18+six and have been getting these twitches for just under a calendar week. Happens if I'm sat down for a while. The fact that I have been getting musculus twitches in my legs likewise does make me doubtful. Also it's definitely not gas!

Anyone else?!

That's exactly what mine felt like at xix weeks too with a inductive placenta and then I'd say information technology's probably baby!!

I think muscle twitches is a practiced way to draw it! I'm 21+two also with inductive placenta. They still feel a bit like musculus twitches nigh of the time simply on some days they are definite kicks that can be felt by others on the outside!

Equally a first timer I was also dislocated by this, I'm now certain that definitely was babe moving. Very sweet isn't information technology

I just actually want it to be but don't want to exist kidding myself! The midwife did mention to me that sometimes the placenta tin can move "up" your belly as your bump grows? Since the spasms are quite low downwards I guess this would make sense. smile

Definitely possible! Mine feel similar painless musculus twitches correct now (22+3), adequately low down betwixt the belly push button and pubic line. Try eating/drinking something sweet (Coke, orange juice, popsicle) then lie flat and hold both hands to a higher place that area for a while. Felt the beginning kick like this in calendar week 18! More like a faint poke but you lot will immediately know that it'due south not coming from a part of "your" trunk!

I would say muscle twitches by your pubic line are definitely movements. I'm getting them loads at the moment - I'm 22+four with my first and am only simply assuasive myself to believe that'due south really what it is! Information technology's funny though - I'thou exactly the same as you lot in that I too get them in my thighs which is weird!!

I recall judging by the replies I might just presume that information technology'due south move. It at to the lowest degree makes me less anxious heading into the next scan! smile

Muscle twitches is exactly how I described the starting time movements. I never had annihilation like butterflies or bubbles popping as others ofttimes say. Definitely baby I'd say.

And yes it can move up, on my second it was quite low just moved equally I grew!

Im similar yous, convincing myself if is! I continue feeling "something" only every bit soon every bit information technology happens and i concentrate on it, it stops(if that makes sense) how do you know what kind of placenta youve got? Volition information technology be in my notes??

wonderstar1216 Saturday 01-Sep-xviii 20:04:20

It would be if it wasn't in the right place @captainshortie and they've probably have mentioned it to you.

Anterior isn't in the wrong position. Naught dangerous nearly information technology. No one mentioned mine to me, it's in my notes from 12 week browse. If it were worryingly depression then they might mention it but they are often low at 12 week browse. At twenty calendar week browse it would be mentioned if information technology were still low - only low enough to cause problems. I know this because I asked my midwife this verbal question as on my notes information technology's noted as anterior, low.

I but know where it is because I asked at the 12 week scan, otherwise I don't think they'd accept told me and it's not on my notes that I tin see. Will ask again at 20 weeks and run into if it'south high or depression.
